Our Doctors

Dr Amanda Davison
Originally from Suffolk, I studied Medicine at Nottingham University and graduated in 1994. After a year of general medicine, I embarked on GP training
and completed the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
I worked as a GP in Rutland for over 20 years, before moving to a Lincolnshire practice in 2023. I enjoy the variety of medicine that General Practice
offers and have also worked as a GP with a special interest in Healthcare of the Elderly, Rheumatology, and Sports & Exercise Medicine.
I have held an additional role as a private health screening GP, for 3 years, in Leicester, with an interest in disease prevention and women’s health,
and am also a GP mentor in Lincolnshire.
Living in Leicestershire, I enjoy walking, running, sailing, cooking and spending time with my family.

Dr Leon Roberts
Originally from Yorkshire, I studied Medicine at Leeds University and graduated in 2000. After junior doctor years, I joined the British Army, enjoying
an early career spanning nearly 20 years, working as a Senior Medical Officer and General Practitioner both in the UK and overseas. I gained both
Diplomas in Immediate Medical Care and in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal College.
After leaving the military, I have worked in Rutland and Leicestershire as a General Practitioner at local surgeries and urgent care centres. I
thoroughly enjoy working in General Practice with all the challenges and enjoyment it brings, but also have a specialist interest in Pre-Hospital
Emergency Medicine, working as a local Air Ambulance Doctor and Clinical Supervisor.
I live in Leicestershire with my wife and two children. I regularly take on charitable team challenges, recently completing two 100km continuous
walks, as well as running, and exercising my two 'excitable' cocker spaniels.
In 2010 I was honoured and humbled to be awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
